Would you Like to Become a Sponsor of First African Landing Vermont?

The First Annual First African Landing Vermont Commemoration will be on August 24, 2019 and we need your help.  This commemoration serves to recognize the 400th anniversary of the landing of Africans in English-occupied North America in (late August) 1619.  Could you please pitch in by sponsoring this event?  This global commemoration celebrates the resilience and cultural contributions of African Americans over 400 the past years!

We’re excited about this first-ever event and from food, music, and dance and singing, to drumming and more, it is our hope that this commemoration embodies the proud, rich culture and traditions of our African heritage and communicates hope and promise for our collective future.  We’re on a sprint to reach a $10K goal for this event and we really need your help to make that happen.  You can choose from three options of sponsorship

Baseline – For a $250 sponsoring gift we’ll publicly name your organization as a sponsor and save you one seat at the event.

Senior – Offer a $500 sponsoring gift we’ll publicly name your organization as a sponsor, make space for your organizations table and banner and save you two seats at the event.

Partner – With a $500 sponsoring gift we’ll publicly name your organization as a sponsor, make space for your organizations table and banner, save you four seats at the event and place you on our Advisory Committee for 2020 First African Landing.

Interested in providing a personal gift?  We’ve also created a place for individual gifts to support this work.  You can become an individual supporter here.

Thank you for being a part of this 400-year commemoration of the First African Landing!

Respectfully,
